今日も今日とて、ジンクワジからバリトまで３０分の道のりをぶっ飛ばして、
コンテストサイトに着くも、なんだかガラ〜ンとしている。
なんのっこっちゃない、昨日の時点で今日はレイデイとなっていた〜
でも波は御覧の様にゴーインオ〜フ！！
コンパクトビーチブレイクが炸裂していた〜
30 minute drive to Ballito again but
no one’s there.
No wonder. Competition was canceled but
waves are pumping!!!
Compact beach break was going off~~
今日も燃える様なエキゾチックな朝陽が拝めた〜
ジュワジュワ〜〜ドロ〜〜っとマグマを引きずるような朝焼けじゃ！！

ネーザンヘッジ一人しか入っていない海へパドルアウトするタツヤとレオ。
試合はもう関係ないが、残り４日のサウスアフリカをエンジョイするぜ〜
There was only one surfer inside but Tatsuya & Reo paddled out and
enjoyed the session~~
Reo Inaba
オートネゲットインはならなかったが、気持ちを切り替えてフリーセッションに望んだレオ。
ビーチの左にポジションをとり、主に掘れた高速レフトを攻め、ゴーインオフしてみせた。
Reo couldn’t participate on the competition but still enjoying the free session.
Took position on the left side and went off along with the fast lefty.
Hiroto Ohara
ウイラードビーチの目の前にシュウジ＆アラヒロと共にステイさいているヒロト。
家からウエットに着替えてモーニングセッションに参加〜
この朝一が一番コンディションが良く、風がざわつきだすとあっという間にジャンク化する。
Hiroto is staying in front of Willard Beach with Shuji & Hiroto Arai.
Got into our morning session as well~~
This morning’s tide has the best condition but gets really junky after wind fills in.

何気ない波で、フィンでざっくり足を切ってしまったタツヤ。
思ったより傷が深く、ライフガードの応急手当の後は歩けないので、
担架で運ばれ、救急車でホスピタルへ〜〜
結局、骨とか腱とかに異常がなく、インサイド３針、アウトサイド９針のステッチで済んだ。
しかし抜糸にはまだ２週間必要なので、もちサウスアフリカでのサーフィンはもう無理で、
帰国後のムラサキプロの出場も難しくなった。
ジェイベイではあれだけゴーインオフしてくれたタツヤだったが、
旅の終盤でやっちまった〜
でもシャークアタックじゃなくて良かった〜〜〜
Tatsuya cut his foot by his board’s fin.
The cut went in pretty deep than we thought so after lifeguard’s help,
he got carried to the hospital~~
His bone and tendon was alright so 3 stitches inside and 9 stitches outside was good enough.
But it’ll take 2 weeks to remove the stitches. That means he wont be able to surf
in Africa during this trip and
he may not surf on the Murasaki Pro.
Tatsuya was going off during this trip but couldn’t make it thorugh~~
Better than a shark attack though.
