本日のノース、やっとこさ風が緩み、太陽も照りつけ、
久々トロピックハワイが戻って来た〜〜
サイズダウンしたけど、どこもかしこもファンウエーブ〜〜
オフザも砂がつき、チューブじゃないアクションが入る波だった。
明日帰国のタツヤとのラストセッション〜〜
Wind’s got weaker and sun’s up so out tropical Hawaii is back~~~
Size went down but waves are still fun size~~~
Sands were sticking around Off The Wall so action kind waves coming in.

奄美大島出身のプロサーファー／イカリヤマユウセイ君。
地元の手広ビーチの近くで、CAN,NEN surf shop を営む
アイランドサーファーだ。
あっ、思いっきりウインドとキャップがかぶってしまった〜〜
Yusei Ikariyama, a Pro Surfer from Amami Oshima.
He runs a surf shop called, CAN NEN near his local surf point, Tebiro Beach.
Wait a minute… He’s wearing the same jacket as me~~~

今回のハワイトリップは、リョウタのスポンサーでもある、
亜波電工さんにサポートしてもらえたので来れたと言う。
こういったサーフィン業界ではない企業が、
サーファーをサポートしてくれるのは本当にありがたいことだ。
見返りを望まず、ただ想いを持ってサーファーの夢をプッシュしてくれるのだから。
Ryota was able to come to Hawaii by his supporter,
Anami Electronics.
It’s so thankful for these supports from the companies that’s not
from the surfing world.
They push surfers back with no payback, but with their heart.

今日からパイプ／プロジュニアのウエイティングに入ったが、
今日はオンされなかったため、バックドア〜オフザはキッズセッションとなった。
まだ１９歳のカイはプロジュニアには出れるが、今回はエントリーしていない。
Pipe Pro Junior’s waiting period has started from today but
it wasn’t held today so kids were all around in Backdoor~Off The Wall.
Kai is still 19 years old and he’s able to participate on the competition
but he didn’t enter for this time.

悪夢の様なバッドウインドが２週間近く続き、
ようやく長いトンネルから出た感のあるノースショア。
こうして風が止み、光が出ると、もうすっかり春なんだなあと感じる事が出来る。
That hell of a back wind continued for 2 weeks
and North Shore is finally out from that dark tunnel.
When I see the wind stopping and lights getting bright, I could feel the spring coming.

やっぱ天気も良くて、コンディションが良ければ、
サーファーもフォトグもテンションが上がるってもんだ。
フォトグにとっては何よりも光が出るとカラーの冴えが違う。
デジタルになってからは少々の悪天候でも撮影するが、
やはり自然の光にかなうものはない。
その光／ライトがようやくノースに戻って来た〜〜〜〜
If the condition and weather is good,
surfers and photographers will be glad.
For the photographers, light will give us the sharpness of the brightness.
After I changed my camera to digital, I started shooting in cloudy condition but
natural brightness is always the best.
And that brightness is back to life~~~
