Kiyoshi , Tetta , Naozo @ Fujiya Club House
昨日のスナベで後頭部をヒットしたキヨシ君は２針で済み大事には至らず、
テッタはアウターアイランドから本島に戻ると、
現在従事しているシステムキッチンの仕事に戻り、
本島でのセッションは共有できなかった。
そして、ナオゾウはアウターアイランドで、台風直撃のため丸２日スタックし、
昨日ようやくアウターアイランド脱出を試みたが、
今度はフライト直前に雷が空港管制塔に落ち、一時空港が麻痺する羽目となり、
午後２時半に那覇に着く予定だったが、なんと午後５時半になり、
スナベに到着したのはすっかり暗くなった７時前となってしまい、
ナオゾウをお迎えに行ったサトル君も、昨日の夕方セッションに間に合わなかった〜
して、今朝はすっかりマッタリコンディションと化し、
皆であちこちチェックに行ったものの、最後は腰〜腹のコーナーでの水浴びとなった。
てな訳でナオゾウもスナベのザデイを期待して本島入りしたが、
一日も居ないうちにアウターアイランドへ帰って行き、
テッタもシステムキッチンの現場へ戻り、
キヨシは明日のフライトを決めたので、オイラの沖縄デイズも終了することとなった〜
ハワイアン達との強烈な本島セッションに始まり、
アウターアイランドトリップ、そして今度は本島西面でのセッションと、
目まぐるしかった３週間強の沖縄取材でした。
セッションに参加してくれたサーファーの皆さん、
そして取材に協力してくださったローカルの皆さん、ありがとうございました。
今年も沖縄の素晴らしい波を記録することができ感謝です。
９月も今日で終わりですが、まだまだ夏の続く沖縄ヤッサ〜〜〜
Kiyoshi got 2 stitches yesterday and
Tetta went back to his job after we got to the main island so
couldn’t surf along with us.
Also, Naozo got stuck in the outer island by the typhoon for 2 days.
Once he finally got on the plane, thunder bolt hit to the control tower and
that stunned the airport for couple hours.
As the schedule, Naozo was suppose to land on 2:30 pm but the time was already 5:30
when he got to the main island.
And Satoru picked him up at the airport so couldn’t make it on time to the evening session~
For today, time went slowly.
Checked all around and surfed at 1~2~ Corner.
Naozo wanted surf at Sunabe but condition was too small so
went back to his island in a day. Kiyoshi also decided to go back home so
finish for me too~~
This trip started off from the Hawaiian troops, moved on to
outer island and finished at this main island.
What a hectic 3 week we had.
Thanks to all of the surfers who participated on this session and
to the locals who supported us in many situations.
I’m feel grateful for meeting these wonderful waves in Okinawa again.
September will end to today but Okinawa’s summer still continues~~~
