46th Haleiwa International Open
明日、１２／２２から１／３まで、ハレイワ／アリイビーチにて、
第４６回ハレイワインターナショナルオープンが行われる。
トリプルクラウン初戦／QSプライムイベントが行われる、
ノースショアいや世界を代表するブレイクの一つハレイワ。
かつてマーボーさんが、ハワイと日本との友好関係の証しとして開催した、
ノースで一番歴史あるコンテストだ。
しかし存続が難しくなって来た昨今だが、
今年もジョエルセンティオがディレクターとなり、
ハーレーそしてサーフ＆シー協力の元、４６回目のイベントが開催出来る事となった。
46th Haleiwa International’s gonna be held at Haleiwa from December 22nd to
January 3rd. One of the famous wave of World, Haleiwa.
This competition is one of the most historical competition in North Shore for
friendship between Hawaii & Japan.
It’s getting difficult to continue this competition now days but
Joel Centio became the director for this year again and
this competition was able to hold by Hurley and Surf & Sea’s cooperation.
Takumi Yasui
昨年２０１４年度、ジャパンメンズクラスウイナーのヤスイタクミ。
ラッドなサーフィンが光り、初優勝を遂げた。
Last year’s Japan Mens winner, Takumi Yasui.
Showed his radical surfing and won the match.
Yuji Mori
昨年２０１４年度、ボーイズクラスウイナーのモリユウジ。
世界の強豪ボーイズ相手にスタイリッシュなサーフィンを駆使して見事優勝。
Last year’s Boys class winner, Yuji Mori.
Used hiss stylish tech in one fierce battle and won the match.
Keoni Ryota Yan
昨年２０１４年度、メンズクラスウイナーのケオニヤン。
ジュニアメンクラスでは４位だったケオニだが、メンズクラスでは優勝〜
Last year’s Mens class winner, Keoni Yan.
He was 4th place in Japan Mens class but won on this Mens class~~
Yoshio Abekawa
昨年２０１４年度グランドマスターズクラスでは、
まさに鉄人と言われたヨッチャンこと、アベカワヨシオ氏が優勝。
あのレジェンド／ジャックサザーランドも打倒ヨッチャンに燃えているほどだ。
On the Grand Masters class,
that iron man, Yoshio Abekawa won the match.
Even that legendary surfer, Jack Sutherland is getting prepared to compete with him.
Takayuki Wakita
昨年マスターズクラスに出場したワキタは２位。
Wakita was in 2nd on the Masters class.
Glen Matsumoto
昨年シニアズクラスに出場したグレンも２位だった。
Glenn surfed in the Seniors class and became 2nd as well.
素晴らしいコンテストハレイワインターナショナルオープンが、
今年も明日からハレイワでスタートされるぜ〜
And that wonderful Haleiwa International Open’s gonna be held
again from tomorrow~~
